About the Knowledge Web
What is the Knowledge Web?The Knowledge Web is our collection of multimedia materials for teacher professional development, including video cases of real classrooms (Knowledge Web Cases) and practical explanations of relevant research on learning (Knowledge Web Theories). A product of cognitive science research, the Knowledge Web is based on a scientific approach to education. This web of materials currently represents our rapidly developing knowledge in this area. Who created the Knowledge Web?The Knowledge Web was created by the eSTEP team. Where should I start?To get oriented, start with our explanation of how to navigate through the Knowledge Web. What equipment will I need?The Knowledge Web can be used on its own or in a class setting.
