About the Knowledge Web

What is the Knowledge Web?

The Knowledge Web is our collection of multimedia materials for teacher professional development, including video cases of real classrooms (Knowledge Web Cases) and practical explanations of relevant research on learning (Knowledge Web Theories).

A product of cognitive science research, the Knowledge Web is based on a scientific approach to education. This web of materials currently represents our rapidly developing knowledge in this area.

Who created the Knowledge Web?

The Knowledge Web was created by the eSTEP team. Find out more about the project, our funders, our team, and obtain a list of our research publications in the eSTEP Project Site.
